support@junglecart.app? Frequently asked questions
Is JungleCart a real store?
No. JungleCart is a free parody, satire, and novelty entertainment app — a "fake shopping" dopamine game. It is not a real store. There are no real products, no real inventory, no orders, no deliveries, and no tracking numbers. Everything you see is fictional theater built for fun. The product names and images are illustrative demo data pulled from public demo APIs, not things you can actually own.
Will I ever be charged real money?
Never. No real money is ever taken. There is no payment processing, no real transactions, and no financial or payment data involved anywhere in the app. Nothing is ever charged to any card or account.
Does anything actually ship?
Nothing ships — ever. There are no real products, orders, deliveries, or tracking. The carts, checkouts, "orders," and delivery animations are all fictional theater. It's a game about the feeling of shopping, minus the boxes piling up by your door.
What are the coins / fake dollars — can I cash them out?
The in-game "fake dollars," coins, and balance have no real-world or monetary value. They cannot be cashed out, redeemed, transferred, or exchanged for anything real. They're free, the app never sells them, and they exist only to make the fake shopping fun. Think of them as points in a game, not money.
Is the app free?
Completely free. There's no purchase price, no subscription, and no real in-app purchases. The app is supported by ads (see below), not by charging you.
What data do you collect about me?
VelaVia collects essentially nothing about you directly. There's no account, no sign-up, no login, and no name, email, or phone number required to play. All of your game progress is stored locally in your device's browser/WebView storage and is never transmitted to VelaVia — we run no server or database that stores your personal data. There are no first-party analytics, no tracking pixels, no Google Analytics, and no advertising cookies set by VelaVia. The main external data flow is the ads network (see the ads question below). For full detail, read our Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my data?
Because everything lives on your own device, deleting it is entirely in your hands: clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app erases everything — your fake balance, cart, orders, mansion, streak, and settings all disappear. The specific on-device storage keys are junglespace-save-v1 (game progress), jc-lang (chosen language), and junglespace-catalog-v4 (cached demo product data). If you have questions about a privacy request, email privacy@junglecart.app and see the Privacy Policy.
Why do I see ads, and how do I limit ad tracking?
JungleCart shows in-app ads through Unity Ads (Unity Technologies / ironSource LevelPlay), which is how a free app like this keeps the lights on. Per Unity's own policy, the ads system may collect a device advertising identifier, IP address, coarse device/technical info, and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads — this is the app's main third-party data vector. You can read Unity's policy here: Unity privacy policy. To limit it, go to Android Settings › Privacy › Ads, then reset or delete your Advertising ID and turn off ad personalization. See our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy for more.
Is JungleCart okay for kids?
JungleCart is a general-audience app but it is not directed to children. Because it shows ads and simulates commerce and spin-style mechanics, we recommend it for ages Teen 13+ (and 16+ in the EEA/UK where a higher age of consent applies). It doesn't take real money or ship real goods, but the ad content and game mechanics make it best suited for teens and up. Parents can read the children's-privacy section of our Privacy Policy.
What platforms is JungleCart on?
JungleCart runs on Android (available on Google Play, app ID com.velavia.junglespace) and there's also a web version you can play in a browser. Distribution and updates on Android go through Google Play, so Google's terms and privacy policy apply there.
How do I change the language?
JungleCart supports 11 UI languages. It automatically reads your device's language setting (locally, on your device — this is not transmitted anywhere) to pick a starting language. Your chosen language is remembered on-device under the jc-lang storage key. If you'd like to switch manually and can't find the option, email support@junglecart.app.
I found a bug or lost my progress — what do I do?
Sorry about that! First, keep in mind that all progress is stored locally on your device, so clearing app data or uninstalling will erase it, and it can't be recovered from us (we don't have a copy — nothing is stored on our servers). For anything else, email support@junglecart.app with a description of what happened, your device model, and Android version if you can. The more detail you give us, the faster we can squash it. 🐛
How does the prank / gift feature work, and how do I use it responsibly?
The prank/gift feature lets you generate a shareable "gift card" link containing only the text you type — for example, a sender name and a fake amount — which you then share using your phone's normal OS share sheet. VelaVia does not see, store, or process these links. Please use it kindly and honestly: it's meant as a harmless joke among people who are in on it. Do not put real sensitive or personal information in the name or message fields, and don't use it to deceive, defraud, or harass anyone. If you see the feature being misused, report it to abuse@junglecart.app and review our Acceptable Use policy.
What permissions does the app request?
Just one: INTERNET. JungleCart does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or storage-media permissions. It needs internet access to load the illustrative demo product images and text and to show ads — that's it.
Where do the product images and names come from?
They're illustrative demo data fetched from public demo APIs — dummyjson.com, fakestoreapi.com, and world.openfoodfacts.org. Fetching from these hosts exposes your device's IP address to them, which is normal for any web request; no personal data is sent to them. None of it is real inventory, and any trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Is JungleCart affiliated with Amazon or any real retailer?
No. JungleCart is a work of parody and satire. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon or any real retailer or brand; any resemblance is parody and commentary. VelaVia owns the JungleCart app, brand, and code, while third-party demo product data and any trademarks belong to their respective owners.
