Hantavirus Tracker is for informational and educational purposes only. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Nothing in the app is medical advice. If you may have been exposed to hantavirus or have symptoms (fever, fatigue, muscle aches, shortness of breath), seek medical care immediately. For emergencies, call your local emergency number. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the app. The app contains medical and health content and is rated for adults. By using the app, you represent that you meet this minimum.

Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time. We may update the app to keep it functional and compliant.
Alerts, headlines, virus profiles, and outbreak data displayed in the app are aggregated from third parties — including the CDC, WHO, PAHO, ProMED-mail, Reuters, AP, BBC, Google News, GDELT, Wikipedia, and state and national health departments. We do not author this source content; we surface it. Each item links back to its original source. The original source remains the rights-holder.

Hantavirus Tracker does not require an account. There is no sign-up, no password, and no profile. To stop using the app, simply uninstall it. See the data deletion page for full detail.
You agree not to:
Some content (e.g. virus profile summaries) is automatically generated from public sources such as Wikipedia. Automated output can be wrong, biased, or out of date. Always verify critical information against the original source linked in the app, and never rely on automated summaries for medical or emergency decisions.
The app's "Use my location" feature is opt-in. When you tap it, the app reads your device location once for that interaction only — your location is not stored or transmitted. You can deny the permission at any time and the rest of the app continues to work normally.
Hantavirus Tracker is free to download and free to use. To support development, the app displays advertising delivered by Google AdMob. By using the app, you agree to the display of these ads and acknowledge that Google AdMob receives a resettable advertising ID and standard non-personal device data to serve and frequency-cap ads. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy. Google AdMob operates under its own privacy policy at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
VelaVia owns the Hantavirus Tracker brand, the underlying software, the dashboard design, prevention checklists we author, and all related IP, except for source content covered by Section 3. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights in our trademarks or trade dress.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that source data will be accurate or timely. The app is not a substitute for medical care.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VelaVia and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the app. Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms will not exceed USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold VelaVia harmless from any claim arising out of (a) your misuse of the app, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right.
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or block access for users who violate these Terms, abuse the ad system, threaten the integrity of the app, or where required to do so by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California, except where you have non-waivable consumer rights to bring a claim in your local jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be highlighted in-app and at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
