Short version

Hantavirus Tracker has no accounts and stores no personal data on our servers. The app stores only local UI state on your device. To remove everything, simply uninstall the app. To stop being tracked by ads, reset or limit your advertising ID in Android settings. That's it.

Most apps need a "delete my account" page because they have accounts. We don't. Hantavirus Tracker was built privacy-first: no sign-up, no email, no health data, no symptom logging, no profiling, no tracking, and no off-device storage of your location. So this page exists mainly to confirm that — and to walk you through the few small steps to wipe what little exists locally.

What's on your device

While the app is installed, it keeps a small amount of local state on your device only:

Your last viewed map filter preferences (year, syndrome, source label).
Prevention-checklist progress (which items you've ticked).
Dark/light theme preference and minor UI settings.
Cached copies of recent public-health alerts so the app loads fast offline.

None of this is transmitted to us. None of it identifies you. All of it is removed when you uninstall the app.

What we have on our servers about you

Nothing. We don't store user accounts, profiles, or any personal data tied to you. We don't have a database to query for "your" records — there are no records.

Steps to remove all data

Uninstall Hantavirus TrackerLong-press the app icon → Uninstall. This wipes all local app storage, including filters, checklist progress, and cached alert content.
Reset your Advertising ID (recommended)Go to Android Settings → Privacy → Ads and tap Delete advertising ID (or Reset advertising ID). This stops Google AdMob from associating any prior in-app ad views with your device.
Opt out of personalized ads (optional)Same screen — toggle Opt out of Ads Personalization. Ads will still appear if you reinstall the app, but they won't be personalized.

Ad-related data (Google AdMob)

The app is supported by Google AdMob. Google receives a resettable advertising ID and basic device info to serve and frequency-cap ads. Google is a separate data controller for that processing under its own privacy policy.

What we have to keep (very limited)

Aggregate, non-identifying app metrics from Google Play (e.g. install count, crash count) are processed by Google Play under its standard developer terms. These are not tied to your identity and cannot be used to look up "your" data.

Children

The app is rated 18+ for medical/health content. We do not knowingly hold data from children. If you believe a minor has somehow used the app and you want to confirm no data is stored, email tommy@velavia.io.
