Two ways to remove your DateAvella AI account and everything tied to it.

You can permanently delete your DateAvella AI account at any time. Deletion is irreversible — once we process the request, your profile, conversations, photo uploads, AI history, and personalization data are removed and cannot be recovered. Below are the two supported paths: in-app (fastest, immediate) and email request (for users who can no longer sign in).

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)

If you can still open the app and sign in, this is the fastest path. Deletion is processed immediately on your device, then synced to our servers within a few minutes.

  1. Open DateAvella AIMake sure you're signed in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Go to SettingsTap your profile photo (top right), then tap the Settings gear.
  3. Tap "Account"Settings → Account.
  4. Tap "Delete Account"Scroll to the bottom of the Account screen and tap the red "Delete Account" button.
  5. ConfirmType DELETE in the confirmation field and tap "Permanently delete." That's it — your account is gone.

Active subscription?

Deleting your DateAvella account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play or App Store subscription. To stop being billed, also cancel the subscription from Google Play → Subscriptions or App Store → Subscriptions. Refund decisions are handled by the store under their respective policies.

Option 2 — Delete by email

If you can't access the app (lost device, can't sign in, account locked), email us and we'll process the deletion manually. We typically respond within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days of receiving your request, in line with our Privacy Policy.

What gets deleted

When your deletion request is processed, all of the following are permanently removed from our active systems:

What we have to keep (and for how long)

A small amount of data is retained after deletion because we're legally required to keep it, or because it's already been anonymized and can't be tied back to you:

Billing recordsRetained for 7 years to comply with tax and financial-record laws (US/EU). Limited to amount, date, and the platform that processed the payment — not your dating data.
Fraud / abuse signalsIf your account was banned for ToS violations (CSAM, harassment, fraud, automated abuse), we keep a hashed identifier so the same actor can't simply re-register. Retained indefinitely. No personal content kept.
Anonymized analyticsAggregate event counts (e.g. "N replies generated in March 2026"). Cannot be re-linked to any individual.
BackupsEncrypted backups roll off within 35 days of deletion. Your data is not restored from these backups for any reason once deletion is processed.

This action is permanent

Once deletion is complete, we cannot restore your account, photos, conversations, or any history — even if you change your mind the next day. If you only want a break, consider signing out instead, or contact us about pausing notifications. Otherwise, proceed with confidence: deletion does what it says.

DateAvella AI is an 18+ adults-only product. We do not knowingly hold accounts for anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, email tommy@velavia.io and we will delete the account immediately. See our Child Safety Standards.
